What is Provisional Drink Driving?

Thinking about provisional drink driving, did you know that if you are a provisional driver you must maintain a blood alcohol content of 0.00. Drivers that are teaching L-Platers to drive must maintain a blood alcohol content under 0.05.

If a Provisional driver blows a reading over 0.00 they will be charged with novice range drink driving and will sentenced in the Local Court. The penalty for novice range drink driving is a maximum fine of $1,100 and a licence disqualification period of up to 6 months.
